I don't know when, or where exactly, maybe 20 p ago or something, I said I was "in".

hmph! organized the components of the project, planned the execution, and figured what I still needed. It's a half-log cabin, neutral lights, and alternating reds & greens. I have 6 or so partially done green blocks, but I am lacking only one green complted block. I have all the red blocks. I need ONE strip of green fabric, and I will have all the blocks I need. I am TOTALLY out of green fabric & strips. Matching is such a pain, you know.

Well, I used a "cross-over" fabric. A mix of red/green in both the red & green blocks. One red has that strip on the outside. The red fabric strip I have is the same as the 2nd strip. So, I have to harvest two outside red strips off blocks already completed. the crossover one will go to the green block. then take off another red outside strip, to go on harvestee red block, then I can use the new strip on the red to red harvested block, that has a DIFFERENT 2nd strip than the red fabric I actually HAVE.

follow all that?

whew! At least I have a plan, now.

But, I DID 2 mug rugs, a doll q swap, kitchen block swap, rail swap, and another doll quilt for my g-dau. Also, hemmed a new skirt. *not sitting on my laurels* (which sounds kinda uncomfortable, aren't laurels prickly?)

Hi quiltmouse - I'm late answering as been swamped here. You asked about a picture I posted back in February - the purple one. It's called strip twist I believe and it's free at quiltville.com
It's a really fun pattern and it's all 2.5" strips. Great for scraps.

Haven't had time to post for March and April (work in tax field) but I have worked on my UFO's. For March I'm taking UFO credit for cleaning and organizing my quilting room. Everything is sorted, boxed, cleaned and ready to roll.

Oh, I did get one thing sewn for the March UFO. I had a round robin center due out 3/30. Sorry to say it actually went 4/2 but I think I'll still count it for my March UFO. Can't wait to see what the ladies add to it.

Quilted 2 tops this week so I'll add binding over the weekend and have one done for April and May. I think I have 2 more also to baste and quilt.

I have had trouble with my phone and have'nt been able to send any pictures lately and the one that did work was April's. I need help holding March. I started this last year and was unhappy with my FMQ so I set it aside. It is a match game quilt, I used biscuits to divide the games up. I wish I had a better pic. I guess I'm lucky it worked at all. There are 10 matchs in each game so four can play.

Finally one of the kids helped me send these to my 'puter. This is a biscuit quilt I started last year and put away because I had to make more biscuts, I didn't have enough made for the game or the boarder. This is a match game quilt 4 can play at one time. I really like making these little guys, they are alot of work but more fun. The back I made hearts and quilted them. I also have a new grandbaby I get to give this too. I usaually give these for our charity but was told I could keep this one. This is the first girl grandbaby. Her name is Treasure, she's the one in my avatar only 2 days old.

Biscuitqueen, I really like your quilt and what a fun idea for the game. The label is very unique. I like the raggedy edge idea. Thanks for sharing pictures.
