This is so good....I make this every year at this time and keep it at the barn for my customers....

    2 cups flour
    1 tsp salt
2 sticks butter plus 2 tbsp
    1/4 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup confect. sugar
    1 cup pecans

Preheat oven to 300 and roast pecans until brown. Put in blender or food processor and blend until it resembles crumbs.

Let your butter soften to room temperature, then mix with the sugars.

Mix flour with salt and ground pecans.

Mix flour into your butter/sugar mixture and press into a buttered pie pan. Score into 8 pieces.

Bake for 1 hour at 300.

Thanks, I just finished looking through my recipes to make an ingredient list, this sounds good too, I am sure my family would like it.
