    Deli Salad

Our Grocery deli makes this. Recipe makes a large bowlful. Keeps good.

    Combine to make dressing:
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
    3/4 cup white vinegar
    2 cups mayonnaise
    1.25 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper

    In large bowl mix:
1# macaroni (medium shell or elbow)
    1 diced green pepper
    1 diced cucumber
    1 heaping cup shredded carrots
    1 cup diced celery
1 diced seeded tomato or use grape or cherry tomatoes cut in half
    diced onion to taste

fold in dressing. It will be sloppy but overnight the dressing absorbs.

Wow, that's interesting with the sweetened condensed milk. I may have to give it a try.
