OH How True, Becky. I used to have to make 12-18 dozen of them and would curse the boss if he did not buy them ahead of time! The last time, I told him if he forgot, he got to peel them all, his wife heard me and when he forgot she made him do all of the peeling LOL Needless to say the next time was super bowl Sunday and he kept pestering me if it was time to buy them yet!

In order for the eggs to peel easily, just add salt to the water, bring it to a boil for 2 minutes let sit for 10 minutes, drain & cover with cold water. They will be much easier to peel. The yolks do stay centered if you stir them before they come to a boil.

Our family loves Deviled Eggs and all the recipies that have been posted are what I do when I make mine. I used to use Miracle Whip but changed to Best Foods as our kids don't like Miracle Whip as well as BF.

Years ago for Thanksgiving I invited a good friend for dinner. She brought the Deviled Eggs. My 4 year old niece who prided herself on being the Deviled Egg expert because she loved them so much wouldn't eat Lois' eggs. When questioned she said Lois' eggs didn't have the "red dirt" on them so she wasn't going to eat them. Lois had run out of Paprika so served her eggs plain.

I'm on my way to the kitchen to boil eggs, too!

Hi Shelly Q:
Miracle Whip is a salad dressing like Mayonnaise only salad dressing. Before I married my husband and our (his biological my married-into) kids I used Miracle Whip exclusively but after we got married I changed to Best Foods as the kids didn't like Miracle Whip. Miracle whip is used for sandwhiches, can be used on salads and is good in deviled eggs. Feathers

I usually babysit all of the kids while the parents did the day after Thanksgiving shopping frenzy. Needless to say, I made sure the kids all spent as much time as possible outdoors conducting their rude contests, due to the toxic sulphur polution  Being the gross little people that they are, this was the highlight of the Thanksgiving holiday. I did make sure to feed them egg salad sandwiches using all of the same ingredients before sending them home, though!
