Here's the original Spiced Tea recipe from Tang.
There are a lot of variations but I like the original.

Where can I find Tang? I haven't seen it on the grocery store shelves in a long time.

Me too! didn't know that Tang existed anymore.
I remember it as a kid as being something of a treat in our home.
Weird "treat" now that I think of it!
So yes, BattleAxe, would you please share the recipe for whatever it is??

As for the Brownies ... I could not wait and made them last night!
Mix fits nicely into a 500 ml jar.
Could even top off with some add-ins (nuts? chocolate chips? or?) if you wanted.
Definitely use an 8"x8" pan. 9"x9" would work but they would be pretty slim.
I'd sooner have some bulk/thickness to them!!

I followed the recipe as is, except for melted butter in place of the vegetable oil.

As for taste and deliciousness .... oh myyyyyy!!!
Yup, this one will work into the repertoire with jars of them ready to whip up in no time!

I just bought Tang from my local grocery store earlier this winter to make Russian Tea (another name for spiced tea). It is definitely available.

If I want a quick icing. I just pour some chips ( chocolate, white, peanut butter etc.) on top when I take brownies out of oven. Go back about 5-6 min. later and they are melted and I take the back of a spoon and spread it around evenly. Be sure to do this as soon as you take the brownies out of oven.

ditto ... I did exactly that when I made this recipe!
It doesn't take very many to do the job.

I just put a thin layer on. Peanut Butter chips or Butterscotch chips on them are my favorites.

The make ahead in a jar would make great Christmas gifts with the rest of the recipe on a card. I've gotten cookies this way; nice gift idea.
