I always heard to be careful of potluck/picnic potato salad because the mayonnaise goes bad. Then i read something that said it isn't the mayonnaise but the potatoes! Which makes sense since mayo has so much oil in it and i don't refrigerate my oil. (well, most oil. I do refrigerate some oils, like sesame and nut oils)

Thats funny! Several family members will not eat at potlucks because they do not know who made what. And they always look for family dishes to eat...
As kids we would go to my dads company picnic and he always took the big cooker of his baked beans. Everyone loved them and they were always eaten...
I worry about what a gal brought that has big dogs in the kitchen and questionable hygiene!

I have never reheated eggs only because I never have any eggs leftover. Otherwise, I reheat everything. I freeze portions of almost everything we cook and I heat them up after proper thawing. When we were a family of five, any leftover cooked meat went into a bag in the freezer. I made stew when there was enough meat.
