Spaghetti Sauce
1 to 1 1/2 # lean ground beef
1 onion diced
Brown these two together.
Then add in the following:
1 clove garlic, minced
2 t Italian seasoning
1 t sweet basil
1/2 t oregano
1/4 t black pepper
29 oz can tomato puree
4 C water
12 oz tomato paste
stir to mix well---I sometimes mix the tomato paste and water together before adding them to the rest, just to be sure it is mixed well.
Allow to simmer for at least 30 minutes. Then add 1-2 T grated Parmesan cheese.
Can add salt to your taste--no more than 1/2 t .
Enjoy!
