This is the best broccoli soup I have ever had.My husband does not care for most soups. This one and my asparagus soup he really likes.

If you don't have the Tastefully Simple bacon bacon or season salt find it! it makes the soup the best.
It can be made with out and it is still really good.

    broccoli soup
1 head broccoli chopped, stems peeled and chopped fine
    1 can chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can of water(to rinse out the soup)
    1 can evaporated milk
    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella/provolone mix cheeses
3 teaspoon tastefully simple bacon bacon seasoning
1 teaspoon tastefully simple seasoned salt
    1 teaspoon onion flakes

    cook broccoli till done,
    drain,
add all ingredients but the cheese and milk. cook till heated.
add milk and stir in cheese.enjoy. Simple--- but delicious.

I just use brocolli(cooked), onions (chopped and cooked in butter and milk to whatever consistency you like. I blended it all together - add salt and pepper to taste and serve. I can't have milk so I substitue soy milk and it tastes good.

Last weekend my sister made some broccoli cheese soup from scratch and she got the recipe from Taste of home.com. She fixed it in her crockpot and she said it was really good. Good luck finding a good one.

I'm in the school of " if it's easy and tastes good..."
    1. 1 can cream of mushroom soup
    2. 1 small pkg froxen broccolli cooked and drained well
    3. 1/2 can good white wine
    4. 2/3 can whole milk or half and half
butter (if you want) and s & p to taste.

mix it all togather well and you can either nuke it for a couple of minutes or on the stove on med heat until heated through ( but stir the whole time. Hope you like it...oh btw, serve with warm artisian bread and the rest of the bottle of wine. Sara

Get a package of the broccali with cheese sauce that you steam in the package. Follow the directions. Put the hot broccali in a pan. Break it up into small bits cutting with the side of a spoon. Add a can or two of evaporated milk. Depends on how much broccali you have, and how thin you like it - just add slowly and stir until you like it. Warm gently on low heat until it is as hot as you like it.

You can just add grated cheese and evaporated milk to ordinary steamed and/or drained boiled fresh broccali ...season that with black pepper. Warm gently to heat.
