This is a real easy, one pan dinner. When you have been quilting too long and discover it's way pass time to start dinner, this is the answer!

    1 pound ground beef
    3 cups uncooked noodles
    2 cups water
1 8 ounce can tomatoe sauce
1 envelope dry onion soup mix

Brown the ground beef in a large skillet. Add the water, noodles, tomatoe sauce, and onion soup mix and stir. Simmer till the noodles are tender.

I will throw together a quick salad and put bread on the table, there you have it!

On days that I know I get to quilt. I throw a Roast in the crock pot,(early Morning) forget about it. then I either throw in noodles and make some mashed potatoes, or barbecue sauce and make sandwiches.

This is VERY close to something my mother made when we were growing up. She also added diced green peppers.

I make something similar...only I use Campbells Tomatoe Soup, instead of tomatoe sauce and the onion soup. I also saute onions with the meat. Kids used to love it -- heck, so do I!!!
