I don't buy it in cans anymore. The pouches don't need draining....just cut open and use!! Yes, I know, the cat misses out, but he gets lots of other treats. ;)

I just dump mine into the strainer, a half hour or so before using it and just let it sit there and drain. It's not rocket science!! LOL
