Put jello powder into blender, add 1/2 cup of boiling water. Blend for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup of crushed ice and continue to blend until the blender jar feels cool to the touch. Pour into serving dishes as it sets almost immediately. This is a vintage Better Homes and Gardens recipe and is the closest to the Jello 1-2-3 product i have found.

Love this idea. I belong to a supper club where we pick a theme each month. I have been wanting to do a 60s inspired theme and this would be a perfect dessert. I also remember the jello molds of the 60s. So,fancy with jello and today unless it is is a cup pre made no one seem to eat it!

A great thing to do with this recipe is to use blue jell-o and add mandarin oranges at the end. The kids think it looks like the ocean with goldfish in it!
