baking soda for Iced Tea
will take the bitter taste out of the tea......Love it ..........over night
in the refrigerator is the way I like it. It taste more like tea the next
day. Just a good pinch of baking soda. Also when cooking beans
Add a good pinch of baking soda while cooking and it takes the
gas out of the beans....Try it. It works.......

I am so-o-o-o-o lucky! My DD works for Teavana and I've gotten spoiled rotten! If you have a Teavana near you, definitely check them out! More expensive then Liption etc., but they are so worth it. (Keep their teas in the air tight tins they sell - it makes a huge difference in keeping the teas fresh).

I read most, not all of the posts. Sun tea will hold the flavor for several days. You need a covered glass jar, a teabag or two (you'll learn to adjust it to your taste), and put it in the sun... it works on a cloudy day, too, if the temperature is warm. The important thing is the glass jar and keeping it covered (as someone already said) will keep all the refrigerator smells from migrating to the tea. Or make some ice cubes that have just a touch of lemon juice in them and pop one or two into the tea just before you drink it.
