I partially thaw some frozen waffles and dip them in the egg and milk and prepare like french toast..My goodness they are GOOD!

That sounds good to me and I just had breakfast! I'm rather funny about french toast, most people around here put cinnamon in it and I HATE it that way. It makes the peanut butter taste funny! Yes, that's right, I like my french toast with peanut butter and no cinnamon.

Good idea! I also adore making sandwiches with frozen waffles. I toast the waffles...then use turkey and cheese and mayo....

My late MIL was Italian ancestry and made a kind of French toast I never had any where else. Italian or Scali bread - eggs (no milk) beaten up well - olive oil in the pan -fried until a crispy eggy crust forms. Served plain - no syrup. Different but good.

Peanut butter and banana. When visiting Memphis, we went to Graceland and had lunch in the restaurant there..and hubby ordered the PB & Banana.......

it was french toast and then the PB & banana put between two slices and continue frying.....
