You are welcome! You wouldn't believe how much more edible my bread got after I learned that. It went from a brick you could use to build a house to bread.
The way I've "converted" a couple of my recipes is to make note of the weight of what I used per batch for a while and kept the average of the ones that had a nice crumb but were still lightweight. The other thing that helped was fresh ground wheat that I put into a measuring cup by sprinkling it from a flour scoop. You don't pack it in that way.

Thanks for the link. My German friend uses the grams when she uses her German recipes.And the weighing makes sense. also realized I have a scale and have ha it for about 10 years. LOL
