Wow - some good recipes to try. Thanks!
|
Simple but ooooo so good is:
1 bottle of Italian dressing Good amount of chicken parts ( could be all breasts or tenders or cut ups) Bake for 40 min or so....whole house smells wonderfully! You can put in about 1/2 c of water to cover it up better |
We really love this one called Swiss Chicken Bake:
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts sprinkle of both seasoned salt and black pepper 6 slices of Swiss cheese 1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of chicken soup 1/2 cup milk 3 cups herb seasoned stuffing mix, dry (do not use preparation directions) 1/2 cup ( 1 stick) butter, melted Arrange the chicken breasts in a 9"x 13" baking dish that has been sprayed well with nonstick spray. Sprinkle each breast with just a little seasoned salt & black pepper. Lay a slice of Swiss cheese over each chicken breast. Mix the soup with the 1/2 cup milk and pour over the chicken. Sprinkle the top evenly with the stuffing mix. Drizzle the stuffing evenly with the melted butter. Cover tightly with foil and bake in a 350* F oven for 50 minutes. Uncover and allow to brown just a little for about 8 - 10 minutes. |
Here is another favourite:
Pesto Olive Chicken - 4 servings 4 chicken breast halves 1/2 cup prepared pesto 9 oz drained sliced mushrooms 4 ½ oz chopped ripe olives 1 cup shredded provolone cheese Preheat oven to 400*F; flatten chicken breasts & place in a 13"x 9" pan. Pour pesto over them... then the mushrooms and olives. Bake for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake until bubbly. (1 -2 minutes) |
Another favourite that you can look up because it is too long to type ;) is called Aussie Chicken on the Allrecipes site.... it has bacon slices with it.... yummy!
We eat chicken OFTEN and I'm always interested in new recipes too, thanks for asking so I can get more ideas too. |
Love seeing all the ways to fix chicken!
You might try Chicken Parisian http://allrecipes.com/recipe/24786/s...en-parisienne/ This can be baked in the oven or in the slow cooker. Wonderful over rice. |
You probably have this recipe, so many people I know make this. We all take Campbell mushroom, celery or cream of chicken soup and cover the chicken breast, bake for 1 hour and it's delicious. I serve it with mashed potatoes and the soup makes a great gravy. I have used other off brand soups and find it is more salty than Campbell soup.
Another recipe: Cut 4 chicken breasts into cubes and cook in butter till done. Boil a package of egg noodles and add chicken breast cubes. I use a jar of Alfredo sauce (any flavor) and one jar of milk. Mix together and it's great. You can add extras if you want, but it's very good by itself. |
I have 2 family favorite chicken recipes.
One is Cheesy Mexican Chicken, the second is Chicken & Pasta. If you are interested in either or both of these let me know and I will post them this weekend. |
My favorite is Salsa Chicken, if you can handle taco seasoning and mild salsa, it's not spicy. Boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into strips. The entire frozen 2-4 lb bag, roll in taco seasoning, place in 9 x 12 casserole dish and cover with mild salsa. Bake until done. Test with thermometer, the salsa covers any pink meat. At the last 4-5 minutes sprinkle on shredded cheese till it melts. Serve over shredded lettuce with plain greek yogurt. It's a weight watchers recipe. The only thing you have to watch out for is putting on too much salsa. The salsa adds salt and condenses when being baked to make a yummy sauce.

I don't think 15 minutes is long enough to cook chicken. But this does sound good.
