Hi Skeat:
I just whipped up your Quickie Cobbler using home canned apple pie filling and added a handful of raisins in the batter. It's about to come out of the oven and DH says it smells wonderful. I love the recipe. I made it in just about 5 minutes and that's with my right hand (dominant hand) in a sling! Yippee skippee...I think we're going to get lots of mileage out of this recipe. Thank you. |

DH and I just died and went to heaven eating this cobbler. It is a wonderful recipe. Thank you. |
So glad you liked it Feathers! It is such a yummy and quick fix! I fed all my builders when they built my house years ago and they thought I was a magician:)If they only knew:)LOL I am going to make it tomorrow for company and will try it with some cream cheese sliced and added on top. Hope this helps your arm!:))Skeat

Great recipe. Nice to have the oven going this time of year and the smell of good desserts is always a bonus! Thanks for sharing.

Made it tonight. Used blueberries and also added a little cinnamon, vanilla and some almond extract to enhance the flavor. Turned out great and was a big hit with everyone. Will make this one again.

My Mom always made hers this way and she called it the "Lazy Mans Cobbler"! She made hers with canned peaches (not pie filling) and it was delish!!!

Sounds awesome with the blueberries. |
My friend called to say she'd be here in half an hour, I popped on here & reread this thread & made it....with frozen blueberries for the topping, we loved it, thanks so much for sharing! (of course had to do a search to figure out how much a "stick" of butter was.... :-)
