This is another dump cake recipe that I love--have made it three times this month
put 3-4 cups of cut rhubarb in a 9 inch cake pan with 1/2 cup sugar sprinkle a small package of dry strawberry or raspberry Jello over top sprinkle a Jiffy brand yellow cake mix (dry) over top of Jello pour 3/4 cup of water over top of cake mix melt and pour 1/4 butter over top Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees (may need an extra 15 minutes to make sure cake is done and lightly browned) Let cool to room temperature so Jello firms up a little. You can make this in a 9 by 13 pan using 4-5 cups rhubarb, 3/4 cup sugar, large cake mix, 1 cup water and 1/2 cup melted butter. |
