does anyone know what to use for a thickener in smoothies? I like mine a bit thick, I got something from Weight watchers, but that was a few months ago. I would like to find something other than W/W. thanks for the help.

here is a smoothie recipe;
instead of using milk, use fruit juice about 1/2 cup, then the remaining ingredients of your favorite smoothie mix.

Use ice or frozen strawberries

When you have over ripe bananas, peel and freeze. Add one frozen to smoothie - yum!

You can also use whey protein to thicken it.

he was a sweetie - named Mr. Spook. You could pick him up and he would lay in your arms ALL DAY - never wanted to get down. And purred constantly.

My smoothie recipe:
1 over-ripe banana (frozen is good)
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 cup vanilla yogurt
Vanilla soy milk to make consistency you like

Blend.

It turns out quite thick and can be thinned to your liking with the soy milk.
