when you say "2 cubes of oleo" do you mean 2 TBL.?
They sound so yummy I'd like to whip them up now but it's really past my bedtime!

no 2 cubes of butter or oleo is equal to 1 cup
I don't know what I did but the powdered sugar is suppose to be with the sugar

I cup of oil AND 1 cup of butter? Sounds like alot of fat for 4 1/2 cups of flour- is this accurate? and do they come out greasy?

emmamarie 02-11-2011 06:55 AM

I have been making these for years and they are so GOOD.mine don't come out greasy.they are easy and fast.

jmanghamom 02-11-2011 09:28 AM

No, they are not greasy. They are sort of like shortbread. I use canola oil.
