Suz- What I want to know is how did you get the chocolate to stick on the marachino cherry stem? Does it have to be completely dry? Do you use some kind of tongs to dip the cherries with?

Sandy, and all of the board. Use that Chocolate bark stuff. You have to rinse the cherrys and pat them dry. The receipe said to use tongs. That won't work, so I use my brain, and decided to use large Twizzers. i scrub them real good in hot water and soap. They worked great. Well you put wax paper on cookie sheet and when the cherrys are all patted dry with paper towels. You have alreay melted the Chocolate a double boiler. If you don't have one just put a smaller pan in a larger one with water in the bottom one about 1 or 2 inches of water. Dip cherrys and stem and put them om cookie sheet and put in Refrigerator to set up befor you go on. Then you unwrap Cho kisses and put some melted cho on flat side of kiss and pick up two slivered almonds and put that on the end of cherry and hold for a few seconds. When they are all done. Put in Refrg again when everything looks good, use a red gel in small tube and put the eyes on. Then I had those little cupcake holders that were xmas and I put them all in there own little holder. Merry Mice to you. Suzanne

These are adorable!! I will make them the next time I'm hostess for my woman's club. They will join the Spiders (bacon and prunes) and Mini Cheeseburgers and Fries, and any other really different cute foods I can find for dessert or finger foods.
