I love sweet potatoes! I have a recipe for crock pot sweet potatoes that's healthy, good and freezes well. I do roasted sweet potato fries in the oven about once a week. Yum!

My grandmother was so happy to have her big chest freezer. She froze everything from leftovers to ice cubes. LOL I don't think there is any vegetable that can't be cooked from frozen.

My daughter is the gardener. She hands me stuff to plant and sometimes even plants it. She tells me when to harvest and what to do with it. I'm not very consistent. As you may have noticed, they were harvested in February. Not such a good idea. Full of worms.

The littlest ones were used this AM. The good parts were great for breakfast. Microwave with onion, red bell pepper, salt and sumac. Then toped with basted eggs Lots of Vit A to perk up my morning.
