I can't believe the difference adding 2T of salt to the water has made - the shell comes right off now! Thank you so much for posting this tip!!! (Sorry I can't remember who to give the credit to - but had to say that my dh is extremely grateful to know this! ;)

Good Morning,

There are some things that you think everyone knows. Someone forgot to tell you this tip.
I am constantly surprised to find out that all my knowledge was not transferred through the umbical cord. Such as: How to get around the major city 14 miles from our house. When we were raising them we went to the zoo and the museums and downtown everywhere but they don't remember. I found my way around when they moved 3000 miles away. They are closer now but can't remember some things.
Sorry, I went off in another direction, Quilter68

I just made some egg salad and tried the salt in the water hint. What a difference! Thanks so much to whoever gave that hint!

I go one further, I use the salt also but I punch a hole in the rounder end of the egg using the pin head of a thumb tack. The shell comes off in just 2 pieces.
