Molasses (with ginger) with Orange Icing - they are a homemade variety that my mother only made at Christmas because they took longer to make than, say, chocolate chip. Chocolate chips, like my mother made them, are my second favorite!

Hmmmmm.......homemade favorite would probably be my Ginger Wafers! They're so thin that you can almost see through them, and they are nice and crispy!! I only make them at Christmas, or whenever I'm going to visit my Daddy in Tennessee. He LOVES them!! :-D I wish I could ship him some, but they are just too fragile. I've often wanted to try shipping them in a Pringle's can and then putting it in a box of styrofoam noodles for cushioning. :?

Ok got to be a dutch tradition Stroopwafels. Wafel cookies with buttery, maple syrup in the middle. Only make several times a year or weddings.

On a regular basis molasses or choc chip with nuts.
