After going to the trouble of putting a sleeve on this monstrous quilt and purchasing a 2" board to go through it, I couldn't hang it after all. Why? Would a thicker, 3-4" board have been a better...

Others inspired me to make this. So much fun and easy except attaching the sashings. These were tricky. Now must find fabric for the borders and backing.....and someone to give this a home.

How does one keep the figures from falling off as I'm appliquing??? The friction created by rotating the fabric seems to loosen some items. All seems secure Until I go to the sewing machine.

I was able to remove the bears from my quilt very...
I was able to remove the bears from my quilt very easily. The minute the quilt was submerged in cold water, they literally fell off! So now I can start over usiing Batik!

Would you recommend submerging the entire quilt in cold water to soak overnight? There are several areas with glued itams to be removed.
