    rubbermaid drawer and cabinet liner works great--Dollar Store has a generic that is just as good--keeps the machine from creeping and also works with your foot control

    try running a piece of paper through the tension disk--go all the way into the disk and around there maybe a tiny piece of lint in there --that's a trick a repairman taught me

    I found a lot of my quilting rulers at Good Will. I go on Wed./Thurs. and get the senior discount 20% . I've gotten a lot of fabric there. I also make doll clothes so I really score sometimes.
