I think it's really pretty and the greens highlight your embroidered blocks. I think you should live with it for awhile before doing anything drastic, which cutting off the borders would be.

If it's on the bottom, then it's your top tension...
If it's on the bottom, then it's your top tension that needs adjusting. However, I agree that sometimes inconsistent speed causes this.

I was accepted into the International Quilt Show in Houston in 2006. My acceptance letter said that they accepted 350 out of about 800 entries, so it seems more than half were not accepted.

The one time I didn't use batting, I regretted it. I would use a very thin batting or wool which is very light.
