Did yours do it even if you used the stop/start...

Did yours do it even if you used the stop/start button? Or the embroidery mode when the foot pedal isn't even plugged in?

Did you ever find a solution to this? I am having the same problem with a janome memory craft 9500. It randomly speeds up with or without the foot pedal. It will randomly speed up in the embroidery...
