Yes it has happened to me. The judge's were very critical with the hand quilting. It was almost like they had a ruler measuring each stitch. I would like to see the hand stitching on their quilts....

I usually take care of my machine myself. I always oil it and blow out the dust. When I bought my Bernina that was all they said to do. Never had a problem with my machine and sewed many quilts on it.
