I use inch and half strips in the sweatshirt jackets and vests I make. It looks better than larger strips unless making jackets for a larger person. Haven't used any thing any smaller.

I have found that the coupons are just a waste of my time. Everything I want is already on sale and can't use the coupons. My LQS has fabrics cheaper than Joann's and don't need coupons.
