Queen Quilter machine doesn't clear seams

My Queen quilter does not clear my seams well & I wind up pushing over seams & over correcting making my curves like race tracks & my curves boxy. Anyone know how to correct this?

following up, would not recommend wetting this down, under the top fabric is a layer of foam, stapled & glued to a sheet of 3/8" fiberboard, (it was that that was causing the stain after washing)...
