I like the sashing but I will make them 1.50 so end up being 1". I will use the light green border again 1.50" and them a 4" to 5" border. Like the 3rd picture where you have the finger.

I am agree with the other ladies, you better off with the HQ. "I always say you get what you pay for". I think you will be spending double at the end if you go with the other machine.

I have the Janome 7700 and I love it. Now if you only do quilting I suggest the Janome 6600 because you can play with the tention dial for free motion. I was a babylock fan but now I love Janome.

Welcome from Clearwater Florida. I have Babylock machines and I love them. Very easy and friendly to use great quality as well. Another brand that is excellent is Bernina in my opinion.
