Label it as a period quilt if you can determine when it was made. Items from the 50s and 60s are going for big bucks now with people decorating with items from those decades.

Yeah, it pretty much always looks this way. I'm one of those "everything has a place" kind of people. But it's just me and DH at home now. When DS was at home, messy was another matter altogether LOL.

I've been told multiple times to have different machines for sewing and embroidery.
The warranty is often based on machine time and, when quilting, you put a lot of time on the sewing machine....
