A friend of mine just made a very cute cat quilt using the Arcadia pattern. She fussy cut large pictures of cats for the large squares and small pictures for the small squares. Her daughter loved it....

Once when I cut my batting just a little too small I had that problem when I quilted right at the edge that didn't have batting. Coudl the batting be the problem? Are you using a quilting needle?
