    I have seen these tips in the art department of the craft stores. Like AC Mores and Michael's. Make sure you place a pin in the tip after use to keep it clear of glue.

    All of the replys you have received are correct but another I would do at once. Join a quilt guild in your area. Quilters are always willing to help oneanother. You will learn alot.

    A lot of people in our guild have this machine and love it. I have one lower that I bought used and I really like it. I hope to get the 6500 some day. Janome makes a very reliable machine.
