Argh. Liar, liar pants on fire.

When I saw this machine I did a little research on it and discovered that his description was lifted from another ad. It's not that far from me, so I asked a question about it (though I forgot to ask if the shuttle was present). He replied and said,
"This is an antique machine which is fully functioning. This is a standard straight stitch machine. When i move the peddle the needle head moves up and down. The only thing missing are the needles which can be found on ebay if you choose to purchase them."
Then he replied again, and this time posted my question to the Q&A and cancelled the 2 bids he had. I suppose I could email him but do I want to deal with someone who lies?

I two more replies from CL on the smashed sewing machine:

"Instant payment available during pick up. Let me know if you still have it for sale.. Reply me as soon as you can to this my work address"[email protected]"

    and

"Are you mentally challenged? What. The hell kind of ad is this for a smashed up sewing machine?"
at least she read the ad...

Well. which is it, your Brothers* or your Grandmothers?

"From what I've seen they run for around $200-$250. I'm asking $200 OBO."

Hmmm, you don't even know anything about the machine, yet you are able to determine a price?

*I know the seller was referring to a Brother sewing machine.
