I was remembering that back when clue 2 came out, JeanneS posted some detailed photos to help the people who were having trouble. Maybe check out the photos, and see if it helps with your placement:

Or check out Bonnie's video on how to use the Tri-Rec ruler.

That was quite helpful. I think my cutting table (old desk) is too tall. I'm not seeing that little notch that I need. Maybe I never got very tall?

I just received my version of En Provence back from my long arm quilter. She always does a fantastic job. This is just the 3/4 size and now I wish I had done the complete 16 blocks. I'm impressed with the patience of those of you who are already onto your 2nd version.

    Wow, Carol, it's beautiful!
I have all of my blocks done, but got tired of it at the neutral border. You ladies are amazing, being finished already!

Nice job Carol. Like that you used a mellow yellow for your squares.

That's so beautiful, Carol! Could you describe what she did with the quilting? I can't make it out from the photos.

Hi Lisa, yes the LAQ did an amazing job and each area is different: almost all the 4 patches are cross-hatched except for those inside the purple star - they are stitched 1/4 inch inside the seams as are all the star points. The yellow blocks have little flowers and the HST blocks of purple/neutral have feathers. I wish I could get a better close up for you and may try again.
