I'm in. These are the first 7 blocks of Allitaire, done in greens and corals. I picked out coral before Bonnie picked it out. The other block is purple. Am really struggling with those little black corners. Did everyone else cut them off before sewing??? All the 4 patches are done and all of the center 4 1/2 squares are cut. I bet I don't get it done before the first clue comes out on 2018 MQ.

Time for a break.... laundry, lunch and rest.
The comfort group gives donated fabrics that are quite unusual to me to make they're quilts. There have been a number of panel quilts and those large prints. The lasted 2 are pictured. Previously made 2 like the black one. They're a little larger than standard width fabric. Also, still have 12x16" piece with one fish. And they're thrilled I'll make the tops, so someone else quilts them. On the black one, the fan was blowing it all over, it really is square.

think I have to be a drop-out--got home from taking church friend to her PT today at noon and DH announced he thought he was having a stroke. Handed him 2 aspirins while I called 911--ambulance there fast (but we are 50 mi. to hospital) and the EMTs encouraged that his only symptoms where drooping mouth and eye. Hospital did CT,MRI,carotid doppler scan, EKG, EEG and all 3 doc (ER, regular one & neurologist) feel that it's "just" Bell's Palsy--for which we are so gratefulbut due to his insulin dependency, high blood pressure, and other med issues, they kept overnight to observe. I came home to scramble to get DD helping to cancel DH writer's event tomorrow, coverage for the flooring installation scheduled for tomorrow and getting him picked up from hospital assuming they discharge as talked about--so only sewing I may get to is some G-ma's FG while waiting at hospital. Worth it to have him home (reasonably) healthy and no stroke.

quiltingshorttimer, hoping your husband is okay to come home tomorrow.
Sync, the skating penguins are adorable and the alternate blocks really do look like ice crystals. However, I think your upper left and lower right blocks have their two top-row center blocks turned wrong. Wanted you to know before you quilt it! That's what's great about posting pics.
Petthefabric, love what you've done with the koi panels. Great little pieced fish!
Marcia, my Allietare is still in blocks on the design wall, too. I really want to get it finished. I have completed Grand Illusion and En Provence... just not Allietare, for some reason.
My local quilting group issued a challenge to make charity quilts with some plaids that were given to us. The plaids were to be men's quilts. I had this piece of yardage called "Snow Day" that went well with plaids, so here is the top. Going to get this quilted for somebody....
