Yea - time to log off my work computer and go play with my sewing machine! (or camera since I want to share pictures).

I'm currently working on a Ribbon Quilt (kit from Craftsy) as something to do while waiting for the BH MQ to start.

I looked over the directions and discovered this one used covered corners extensively (like for about 1,000 triangles) and I dislike that method. So I got out the EZ Angle and Companion Angle rulers, and they got put to good use.

I've got the center and first few rounds done, these go together quit fast. The last quilt top I did was a Snake River Log cabin (King) and that seemed to take forever! I think I had just started it at the last VQW

Oh - I forget to share these! They came in the mail today, and will be adding sparkle to my boring white sewing machines! I got black and Pink because they were really cheap - in case I didn't like them. There were other colors, but for 3x what these cost. Guess black and pink aren't as popular and gold, red and blue.

    I'm in!
I have to get this fun baby quilt quilted & done this weekend so I can give it to the new baby & Mama (my niece) when I see them Thanksgiving week. The biggest delay was having my machine in the shop for the past week+. But 'my beloved' (the sewing machine) is back home now & I'm excited to start a marathon quilting weekend.
    Wahoo!!

    Beautiful ribbon quilt, Cathy!

And Donna, your little barnyard quilt is adorable! Love the chicken wire borders. LOL.

Yay. Just the motivation I need. And I'm not on call this weekend! I can't wait to see what everyone is working on. My goal is to complete this quilt top.

That ribbon quilt is going to be pretty Macybaby.

I managed to get 5 fleece caps done today. They will be Christmas presents for Barn friends. And, they count as UFOs too, since I have had the fabric and pattern and pieces cut out for 2 years....Yay!!! Next I think I'll work on getting the painted part done on the whole cloth so I can do some thread painting on it. That will free up my worktable so I can square up the quilt UFO and get it bound. Oh, here's a pic of the fleece caps:

I am in! I want to make a Christmas bed runner. I found a package of charm squares in my stash this afternoon. 'Adoring' by Sandy Gervais for moda.

Anybody have a pattern for a lil twister runner? (table top or bed runner)
