Default Input on Grace U'nique 14+r

I currently have a Bernina quilting frame made by Grace Company and use my Bernina 830 LE on it. The machine is also my main machine and it is very heavy to put on and take off the frame. My hubby passed away in May, so it is something that I need to do myself. I was considering buying an 820 and leaving it on the frame, but in truth I want something with a little larger throat. So my son suggested that I check to see what I could get in a mid/long arm. I have found that for what it would cost for the 820 and the upgrade for my Quilters Creative Touch computerized quilting set up, I can get a new or even for less a Grace U'nique 15R demo model with full warranty, and software upgrade. I have dealt with the Grace folks before and they are awesome. I am this close __ to ordering and the best deal would be if I purchased before 4/2/18. There is a Grace dealer about 3 hours from me. So, do any of you have this machine? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, that is so good to hear! I will be ordering mine today! Now to come up with a name!😊
Any hints? Should I order extra needles and bobbins at same time from Grace...and the 3 feet attachment set?

Personally I think you should go ahead and order the extra needles and attachments at the time of purchase. I bought mine from a dealer not from the Grace Company but I am treated as if I did get it from them. I think you will be very happy with your Q'nique. Nursie76 I just wanted to say my deepest condolences for the loss of your husband.

Well...she is ordered!!! Hopefully she will arrive by Easter! I did get extra needles as it takes a different type than my Bernina, and she comes with 3 bobbins. Going to hold off on extra feet (I will eventually get the 3 foot set) until I get to know her. And going to hold off on a Towa gauge for now. Some say they use it and some say they should have saved their money. We will see. Can't wait till she gets here....still trying to come up with a name...maybe will wait til I see her and then decide....WOW! I can't wait!!!!! Yahoo! (Can you tell that I am excited? )

Waiting to hear how you like it. I am trying to decide on a wider harped machine also. I had thought about getting the Juki 2200 but I see some people have had serious problems with it so probably won't go in that direction.
