we listen to radio more than TV. we gave up cable about 5 years ago. If it doesn't come in free, it doesn't come in. Our favorite things to watch are the old programs from 25 years or so ago. nothing presently being made is worth watching.

Since they removed most of the quilting shows from tv, there's no reason to watch any more.
Same here. We recently got "more channels" but now there is even less to watch. DH watches mostly sports so I come to this room and surf the QB. I can never see it all. I've never "watched" anything online. I'm still a duck at the computer.

I only get the free stations - no cable or dish. Only watch a few shows: I never miss Bones, and love Sherlock Holmes and Cops if I have the time to watch those. Otherwise TV not even on, can't stand noise.

My kids and DH would die without television and turn it on automatically when they get up. If I am home alone, it never comes on. The only thing I watch are Yankee games and football on Sundays. If I want background noise, I turn on music. But I really like silence best.
