This Arboretum is just south of Asheville, literally the corner of Rt. 191 and the Blue Ridge Parkway!

Hmmm - couldn't find 191 in the atlas. I have a daughter that lives in Hendersonville. Maybe?

I'm game to get a group of NC quilters to go together. I live about 1/2 hour from the Arboretum. They plant a quilt garden each year in a different block. They have several squares of earth that are planted as blocks, with an observation area above. Oh My, it is quite a place.
Blessings.

Rt 191 is called Haywood Road in Hendersonville, where I live!
She'll know how toget there! The Parkway is an easy landmark.

I think I've been there. But it was in the spring before the quilt garden was planted.

I haven't seen the quilt garden, just the "garden of earthly delights" when the NC quilters bring their beautiful things to the show... :D
