I've got a Dp9 that I've been over a year trying to make myself finish but at the risk of being put in front of a firing squad, I DON'T LIKE DISAPPEARING 9 PATCH!!! I doubt that it ever gets finished but if it does it won't be more than a couch throw.
So, I say, if you don't like it MOVE ON.

Personally, I like it. It appears to me that it will be a very warm and comforting quilt. Move ahead at a slow pace. I think you will find that you like it better and better if you space your work time with it. I LIKE IT A LOT!
