I've got a Dp9 that I've been over a year trying to make myself finish but at the risk of being put in front of a firing squad, I DON'T LIKE DISAPPEARING 9 PATCH!!! I doubt that it ever gets finished but if it does it won't be more than a couch throw.
So, I say, if you don't like it MOVE ON.

Oh, you gotta finish it for your bff she's waiting. It's going to be very pretty, and you've got the hard part done, you're on the downhill slide. Can't wait to see it done.

Is it the quilt you don't like or the BFF? It's question you should ask yourself.

It looks great. I hope you muster up enough positiveness and finish it. It will be lovely!

Personally, I like it. It appears to me that it will be a very warm and comforting quilt. Move ahead at a slow pace. I think you will find that you like it better and better if you space your work time with it. I LIKE IT A LOT!
