Welcome neighbor, I, too, am from Louisville, Ky. I, too, have only been quilting since May, 2009. I have made quite a few baby quilts. One grandson, 5 months, and one grandaughter, on the way. I have made 9 large quilts...I love quilting. I have them machine quilted because I have not gotten brave enough to handquilt yet. You will LOVE being on the board. Everyone is so friendly, encouraging, and helpful. Just ask a question and you get lots of answers.
Where do you get your fabric?

Sharon

Hello and welcome to the club. We all seem to be here instead of elsewhere. ha ha ha But don't sweat it the quilts seem to still be completed. One here, one there, he he I have two almost done. No don't shoot me. Had the kids helping me. I sewed my daughter would iron. and my Son (bless his heart) would tell me when the Police were in the drive way. Happy sewing!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome from Grand Rapids MI, I find myself in the same boat. I computer and my sewing machine share a table and when I sit down to check the board sometimes I spend all my alloted time on the computer.

Hi Elizabethtown, I am right next door in Bardstown. We have lived here since December of 2007 moving here from Illinois. Where do you buy your fabric. I have yet to find a quilt shop other than Louisville but too much traffic going there so the only way I get there is if my husband drives me but would love to find a quilt shop close by.
