I am a newbie and would love to be adopted. I am working on my first ever quiltop and I really don't know how to sew. I don't know the quilt lingo yet or understand the abbreviations like SMQ FID, or even what a "walking foot" is. I really am a "babe in the woods." Anyone up to taking me under their wing?

I need adopted! I hope to get my first sewing machine this weekend. I usually try to figure things out for myself and will post questions on the board to take some aggrevation away from my adopter but would really appreciate someone that would maybe explain a little better if the need arises. Thanks

Now that I'm moved and somewhat settled I'll adopt a newbie. I paper piece and do machine applique.

I am willing to adopt. Been quilting for 25 years, but I learn something new on every quilt.
