there's no model number. the serial number is EJ252242. right above the serial number, on the pedestal of the machine, is a little plaque that says 99K. above that is a lever that says, at the top, BACK TACK
i researched it before i posted and i know it was made in scotland, in clydebank, outside edinburgh, in 1953. since then, i looked up singer 99K and saw pix and they were exactly the same.
do you have a pic of the 201?

I am working on transitioning my businesses to nothing but Vintage sewing machines. I will still paint cars here and there but not anything like I have been doing before. If I paint one a year that will be doing something.
I am looking to buy some land right now and when I do a 4800sqft facility will be built that will house my business. I am not going to go into the details right now but I am going in with both feet and I am not looking back!

Here are the pix of my grandmothers Singer machine. It was also made in 1953 in Clydebank, Scotland. It has the red "wick" and is the same except it has a different cabinet.
