I was looking at that pattern last night. I have it as "Rings 'n Things" from Link to the 30's by Kay Connors and Karen Earlywine.

I thought it was funny that I was admiring the pattern last night and here's your cool quilt today. The authors' took their patterns from old newspapers (and, I think the cover pattern came from McCall's, maybe). Perhaps that's where Gran found it.
