I wish my husband would cut my blocks for me and make beautiful quilts like that. I would gladly share and then go shopping for more fabric.

I think you will have to forgive him, he does a great job piecing quilts and looks like he gets them finished, no ufo's.

He did a great job with those white blocks. Now he has to trade back to you some blocks YOU want.

I really don't think that he knew they were the ones that I was using. I didn't take all of them out of the container they were in. I just grabbed some. It was my fault really. Since he does all of the marking and cutting for me, I guess I'd probably be better off keeping my mouth shut about the little incident. I wouldn't want him to quit on me. I'll just make do and make the sacrifice. Of course a trip to the LQS will smooth my ruffled feathers.

hey i think he did a great job i would forgive him i see you are from Ashdown, Arkansas i live at Gillham, arkansas which is 10 miles north of DeQueen. i have a brother that quilts he just turned 73 years old the 7th of August and he has been quilting for years makes beautiful quilts he lives in Hughes Springs, Tx. out of 7 kids he was the only one that took after our mom quilting he has her old quilting frames the wooden ones that hang from the ceiling i just started trying to quilt back in the middle 80's have been working on a yo-yo quilt for about 7 years about 3/4 of the ways through with it.

He sounds like a good husband and he is certainly a good quilter.
I'd just explain the problem you're having and ask him to drive with
you to the local quilt store to help you try to find a matching white.
He probably thought he was being helpful in using up scrap squares that
you didn't want and had left unlabeled.
My daughter loves sushi and I use her take-out trays with covers to
corral my squares.
