From what I understand about charm packs there is only one square of the product line. I purchased 2 packs of each charm pack so I could have an even amount. I wanted 2 of the same pattern with 2 of the same solid color. My charm pack is mainly dark red/ and 3 shades of tan. So it is more muted than if you get the Happy pack moda sells. When choosing the 4 patch blocks I made sure they were a dark block with a lighter block. That way only 2 of my blocks will be the same. I will end up with 40 blocks and I will have good contrast of materia..

I have already made 4 quilts using the D4P and love the way it comes out. This gives me a different take on the pattern and I love it. Thank you for including all of the fine details to your tutorial.
