Well, I will wait till I see the details before making the committment. If I have to come up with 40 seperate fabrics for I spy, I'm not sure I can do that in a short turnaround swap. If any of us end up not being able to do the swap and want to talk about just trading some duplicates, would that be ok?

If the squares will be 5 inch squares - and 40 squares of each fabric

One buys approximately three pieces of fabric - approximately 3/4 to one yard of each - I suggest a minimum of 7/8 yard to allow for shrinkage and the fabric to do it's own thing.

If the design would work out better "fussy cut" - then it requires more.

Fussy cutting is cutting each piece separately - paying attention to how the design is placed in each square.

NO NO NO - not 40 different fabrics. Only 3 fabrics cut into 40 five inch squares each. Phew - I couldn't do 40 fabrics either.
