Yes, I agree. I don't have any in the kitchen right now -- there is a brand name that I don't remember. They are sold in some grocery stores. They are similiar to what home made noodles are like. Much different than the egg noodles that all stores carry.

they are a wider and thicker noodle I live near frankenmuth Mich they make them there in a couple of resturant and sell them there or specialty shops around saginaw

A friend told me to use Reames Frozen Egg Noodles. They are thicker and more like homemade. She remembers something similar but with cabbage not sauerkraut.

That is the brand I get...very good. Freezer section of most grocery stores I have been in.
